Greetings and Welcome to the Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics,
I am very pleased to introduce you to the Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics (FAE) at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Although FAE was established around 2016, our focus on architecture and ekistics-related fields is distinctive. We prioritize efforts to achieve balance and sustainability in the built environment by exploring aspects of heritage within a contemporary business environment. Currently, FAE comprises approximately 422 undergraduate and 15 postgraduate students, alongside 39 dedicated staff members (academic and administrative). We offer three undergraduate programs: Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Landscape Architecture. Additionally, we provide masters and doctorate programs in various fields at the postgraduate level.
We are committed to preparing our students for the industry demands of the future. To this end, we have collaboratively designed curricula with industry partners and agencies, particularly the Board of Architects Malaysia and the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia. Curricula related to ekistics are also in development to address future needs.
In addition to academic excellence, we emphasize the overall welfare of our students. We offer a variety of interesting activities to enrich your academic experience and prepare you physically and mentally to face greater challenges in the future.
FSE has an international student composition from various countries including China, Pakistan, Indonesia, and more. Therefore, we encourage all to embrace our differences, celebrate our similarities, and engage in civil exchanges of ideas, thereby upholding academic freedom as a core value of our educational mission. Let us work together to build a stronger future, encompassing social and environmental responsibility.
